Clyde Tunnel Installs Autoscope Vehicle Video Detection System

Motus Traffic Ltd. announced today that it has been awarded a contract to supply and install Autoscope Solo® Pro vehicle detection systems for the Clyde Tunnel in Glasgow, Scotland.

The vehicle detection systems have been delivered and are due to be installed during the first quarter of 2003. The Autoscope Solo® Pro system will provide automatic stopped vehicle detection and smoke alarm detection. The complete system, to be installed by Motus Traffic, includes digital storage capability to automatically record just before and immediately after each incident alarm. In addition, the Autoscope Solo Pro cameras will be collecting traffic data, including average speed and volume statistics for the Tunnel Master.
