ELV Technology Helps Customers Lower Their Energy Consumption

Motus Traffic Ltd. announced its ELV (Extra Low Voltage) product strategy today, demonstrating a clear intent to provide safe, powerful and environmentally conscious products.

"Our ELV products help customers lower their energy consumption and in doing so help meet a broader goal of protecting the environment."

Motus Traffic's ELV system includes the TM 150 Traffic Controller with ELV output drive levels, and the Ultra Traffic Signal with the ELV LED's. The TM 150 Traffic Controller is a modern, flexible, and high performance traffic controller, which meets the requirements of TR2500. For complete flexibility in site design, the TM 150 is available in a 32 phase and 16 phase version. The Ultra Traffic Signal is a modular, polycarbonate traffic signal housing, which can blend into the street environment without detracting from its surroundings. The modular construction of the Ultra, can easily be configured for all UK assembly option.

In addition to the environmental benefits, by removing the mains voltage from the street environment, ELV technology increases the electrical safety for members of the public in the event of damage to the installation, as well as increasing the safety of personnel working on or around the intersection.
