JCT Traffic Signal Symposium And Exhibition 2007 Preview

The 12th annual JCT Traffic Signal Symposium And Exhibition, this year being held at Nottingham University Jubilee Campus on 12th and 13th September, is an opportunity for leading practitioners to discuss practical signal engineering.

Graham Heywood will present a technical paper "MOVA By Video Detection". The paper will cover the benefits of video based detection, principles of the technology, the key points to successful design, a sample of previous installations, and a full question and answer session.

Motus Traffic will be displaying the Motus Traffic Video Detection System which can process mixed detector types up to a maximum of twenty four detectors, and is field proven to be effective with MOVA and SCOOT loop emulation.
