Swarco / Futurit And Motus Traffic Complete Signals Agreement

Motus Traffic Ltd. announced today that it had been appointed exclusive agents for Swarco / Futurit signals products in the United Kingdom. Swarco / Futurit are pioneers in the development and production of the first polycarbonate signal heads in Europe and worldwide and have gone on to become one of Europe's market leaders in traffic signalling. As a result of their agreement with Swarco/Futurit, Motus Traffic are bringing an advanced and intelligent LED signal head, the FuturLED 3, to the UK market.

Gareth Heywood, Business Development Director at Motus Traffic, said in a statement "This is a more advanced system of LED signalisation using a central light source rather than many LED's distributed inside the signal."

Following the development of the FuturLED 3 module, a new "modern" style signal head housing has been designed, the Alu Star FuturLED 3. The innovative Alu Star is a new generation of FuturLED based traffic signals made of aluminium. The Alu Star housing has been combined with the FuturLED 3 modules to provide a revolutionary new looking signal head, specifically tailored to integrate into inner city and rural areas without reducing the basic function of clear and unmistakable signalling. The FuturLED 3 modules are used in the Swarco / Futurit signal head type Alu Star with aspect diameters of 200mm, 210mm and 300mm.
